THE SILVER PETTICOAT REVIEW
Our Editorial Policy
How we turn complicated terms into useful reading—and keep commercial relationships visible.
Evidence comes before a conclusion
Our articles begin with a defined reader question. Sources may include regulator registers, published operator terms, official game rules, software documentation and recognised support organisations. We provide links so readers can inspect the relevant material.
A licence statement is not proof that every domain using a similar brand is covered. A published return percentage is not a prediction of a session. A promotional headline is not the full set of conditions. We make these distinctions explicit when they affect the decision.
Our comparison framework
We consider the exact operator and domain, jurisdiction, account restrictions, payment and withdrawal conditions, promotional terms, game rules, software usability and tools for setting boundaries. We explain which factors matter in a particular scenario rather than assuming that every reader needs the same product.
Unless an article states and documents otherwise, it is based on published information and editorial analysis. It is not a report of a deposit, cash-out, laboratory test or mystery-shopping exercise.
No invented authority
We do not publish fictional customer experiences, invented staff credentials, unverifiable testing claims or numerical ratings without a documented basis. Photographs provide editorial context and do not prove that a pictured person or venue endorses the publication.
We do not promise guaranteed wins, describe gambling as a solution to debt or suggest that a betting system removes risk. Poker strategy, game knowledge and budget limits cannot eliminate the possibility of loss.
Affiliate relationships and placement
When we use an affiliate link, we identify its commercial role near the relevant content. Paid placement must be labelled. Commission is not evidence of quality and does not justify concealing a material restriction. References to operators or regulators do not imply a partnership with them.
Our current reading collection concentrates on selection criteria and education. Partnership enquiries are welcome through our Contact page. Commercial destinations can be added only when the intended offer and applicable terms can be verified.
Updates and corrections
Articles display a publication date and source-check information. Terms may change between reviews. If a material error is identified, we assess the source and update the relevant explanation. Significant substantive revisions should receive an updated date and, where useful, a correction note.
Send a correction to admin@thesilverpetticoatreview.com with the article URL, the disputed passage and a source supporting the change. Do not send passwords, identity documents or private player-account records.
